Laura E. Neish provides outside general counsel services to companies and nonprofit institutions, with an emphasis on contractual, regulatory and compliance issues.
She has extensive experience advising both U.S. and foreign clients on compliance with labor, securities, fraud, and anti-corruption laws. She has represented clients in multiple SEC and FINRA administrative proceedings, arbitrations, and enforcement actions, as well as complex commercial litigation in state and federal court. She also resolves employment disputes between companies and high-level executives. Her achievements include a multimillion-dollar judgment for a beauty industry executive in a federal court employment dispute, and a summary judgment victory in Delaware Chancery Court for a consumer products executive.
Laura was a partner at a Washington D.C. based litigation boutique and an associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in New York. Laura clerked for the Hon. Sidney H. Stein in the Southern District of New York and graduated with honors from Duke University and the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.
