NOREEN TRAVERS
Noreen Travers worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office for seven years. While there she conducted numerous felony trials to verdict, argued hundreds of pretrial motions and indicted hundreds of defendants for felony offenses and drafted search warrants and wiretaps and conducted long term investigations involving the wiretaps. She also authorized search warrants which led to recovery of millions of dollars, seizure of weapons and narcotics which lead to major arrests and prosecutions and worked with various state and local police departments and confidential informants to obtain information that led to the arrest and prosecution of major drug offenders.
Ms. Travers also worked in private practice for six years handling all criminal matters ranging from minor misdemeanor infractions to major felonies as well as handling a variety of civil matters including corporate arbitrations and consumer disputes.
